Bill is a principal of Nerlich Lawyers. His extensive experience gained both as a CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) and subsequently as a legal practitioner, equips Bill to provide sound commercially focussed advice on all matters related to business.
Bill’s experience both as an accountant and a lawyer provides him with a unique understanding of insolvency principles and practice. He advises clients in relation to both corporate and personal insolvency and exposure arising from business and corporate collapse.
His areas of focus also include general commercial litigation and dispute resolution, corporate structures and restructuring, business sale and acquisition and security documentation and enforcement.
Bill is particularly passionate about dispute resolution. He regularly conducts mediations in the context of litigation. He also assists parties in voluntary mediations of commercial disputes prior to litigation and with negotiations where an impartial third party will assist the parties to achieve the best possible outcome without dispute.
