Mediation

One of our two Principals, Bill Nerlich, is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and is available by appointment to conduct your mediations.

Bill is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer who has, for many years, assisted clients with commercial disputes, conducting commercial litigation and providing specialist insolvency advice.

His background and his calm and considered approach will assist you and your clients to work towards resolution of their disputes. He is particularly passionate about mediation and views it as integral to the dispute resolution process.

• Court ordered mediations in existing legal proceedings
• Voluntary mediations while legal proceedings are ongoing
• Voluntary mediations prior to the commencement of legal proceedings and where litigation is considered likely
• Mediations to assist parties experiencing partnership, shareholder and other commercial disputes that have been identified early and may be resolved without the need for litigation
• Mediations where parties are engaged in negotiations over matters such as succession planning, termination of business relationships and related dealings and where an independent and impartial mediator may assist the parties to achieve satisfactory outcomes without dispute
